Opened its first branch in Indonesia in Pacific Place Mall since 2014, we just got a chance to tried the infamous Ippudo ramen in 2017. Many times we have passed by the restaurant in Central Park but only wanted to try it when one of our friends recommended it.
Ambience
The restaurant is in the standard Japanese restaurant size but could accommodate more people when compared to the restaurants located in the widely known Ramen Village in AEON Mall BSD. This is the kind of restaurant that offers their food as their main interest instead of decorations, etc. This place can be too crowded and uncomfortable for meetings and the visitors mostly are people who want to eat a bowl of nice ramen and then left.

But their decorations are still impressive and unique! I like their decorations

Food

They have three main kinds of Ramen,
Shiromaru Ramen, a classic hakata-style ramen
Akamaru Ramen, a modern hakata-style ramen
and Karaka Men, a rich taste hakata-style ramen
We ordered a Shiromaru Ramen and Karaka Men

Shiromaru Motoaji (small), Rp55,000
The Shiromaru Motoaji is a classic ramen and probably the cheapest ramen you can find here. Its soup is rich in taste without being too oily like one of its competitor's. Not to mention their very appetizing pork loin. Totally one of the best ramen I have ever tried. Probably not extremely impressive, but impressive enough for me to come back again.

Karaka-Men (small) Rp77,000
The second one is the Karaka-Men, basically this is a Shiromaru Motoaji with modified topping. They eliminated the kkurage and spring onions and add cashew nuts and ground pork with special miso soup. The soup is still the same tonkotsu broth in the Shiromaru Motoaji. For the taste of the cashew nuts and ground pork is authentic, they have this sweet and sour taste and are a nice addition for the ramen. But, with a wide price difference, I don't really think it's worth the price.
We ordered Ocha (free refill) for Rp15,000. Quite expensive but it is free refill
Another Suggestions
Some said that their Ippudo Bun is legendary and worth a try. We haven't tried it yet, but will soon be back and try their Ippudo Bun!
Overall, we would recommend Ippudo for those who want to eat good ramen but don't really bother about the cost. The price is above the standard ramen restaurant but still tolerable for a restaurant inside a mall in Jakarta area. If you are currently short in funds but still want to eat Ramen, there are some ramen restaurants that offer you the same quantity but with lower price.
